800 Amp High Current Capacity
PHASE 3 Powersafe connector’s advanced contact design achieves its 800A continuous rating by utilising an arrangement of 29 transfer bridges.
Each transfer bridge is rated at 30A, giving a total of 870A per contact.
800A or 500A Connectors
Powersafe Powerlock Connectors
Powersafe is rated at either 500A, higher than the usual 440A single pole device. 500A connectors are available with Set Screw Termination for power cables up to 150 mm2 CSA. Powersafe also offers 800A connectors, higher than the standard 660A Powerlock connectors. 800A connectors are available with Crimp Termination for larger cable sections up to 300 mm2 CSA

Amperage & Cable Size Explained
When selecting your inline connectors, it's the cable size, cross-sectional area (CSA termination), that determines which connectors are required. Powersafe Powerlock connectors are available with either Set Screw termination for cables up to 120mm2 and with Crimped termination for cable sizes between 150mm2 & 300mm2
